Review by hotel critic
As a wildlife conservationist and safari guide from Nairobi, I appreciate places that prioritize a welcoming atmosphere and family-friendly amenities. My sisters and I recently stayed at the Billabong during a relaxing family vacation, and I must say, it provided a delightful experience. From the beginning, we felt at home. The reception was warm, and Barry was incredibly helpful, offering insight into the local area. Our family room was spacious, ensuring we had our separate beds-something my sisters and I appreciated for our peace! Dinner at the restaurant was an enjoyable experience, with a menu that made selection challenging. It was delivered to our room promptly, along with a friendly smile from the chef. Breakfast was basic but satisfying, a nice touch for our busy mornings. For families seeking a serene getaway, the Billabong is an excellent choice. Whether you fancy birding, scenic drives, or simply unwinding in nature, I am confident you'll find your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. We look forward to returning!
